My PhD research work focused on regulatory mechanisms of innate immune signaling pathways, especial in STING-dependent cytosolic DNA sensing pathway and Toll-like receptor (TLR) signaling pathway, both of which have been implicated in the antiviral response and the development of inflammatory diseases. My postdoctoral training in Kajimura lab focus on the molecular mechanism involved in beige adipocyte thermogenesis, and the correlation between inflammation and obesity.
