I hope to explore factors regulating the "beiging" process of inguinal white adipose tissue, elucidating the cellular circuitry that drives the conversion of storage-based white adipose tissue into metabolically hyperactive beige adipose tissue. I want to understand what proteases regulate the half-lives of important transcription factors in the beiging process.
